Nico Soffiato, originally from Italy, is a NYC-based guitarist, performer and composer. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2007, he moved to Brooklyn. An active member of the New York Jazz and Contemporary Music scene for over fifteen years he has performed, recorded and toured in the US and internationally. Leader and collaborator of many projects, he’s also a sought-after sideman, known for his ability to easily and comfortably interpret different styles and genres. He worked as a freelance composer for Decoded Advertising and he currently works as a composer for Overcoast . He did additional music for the movie Straighten Up and Fly Right, 2022 Slamdance Award Winner.
